Buffalo Grove Fire and Water Damage
This two-story home in the Buffalo Grove region suffered a significant fire in another wing of the structure. The heated air transported the visible soot onto the walls of this stairwell, and also the ceiling. The extinguishing efforts doused this area with a large volume of water that soaked into the porous surfaces of the gypsum board, rendering it weak and crumbling and needing replacement. The After Fire demonstrates the demolition and cleanup because of the ancillary damage caused by the pressurized water hoses. SERVPRO understands the many problems associated with this type of fire damage and can work with the homeowner and his insurance adjuster to agree upon the demolition, pack-out, and cleaning of belongings, the storage of these possessions, and eventually the return to the home after the rebuild. All of the services kept within budget and schedules to the satisfaction of all involved. We strive to meet and beat the expectations of our customers, always.
